Let’s be honest, growing older is a bit shit – your hair starts to fall out (apparently onto your top lip), vest tops become taboo, you pee when you laugh and you start to forget more than you remember … but we are all in the same boat and, if you’re reading this thinking “that hasn’t happened to me” give it time my sister. It’s coming.

So, pull yourself together, quit crying over your lack of collagen and stop staring forlornly at that empty nest. Looking back isn’t going to move you forward. Middle Age is here and Old Age is next so what are you waiting for? Get that tattoo, buy that sports car, throw out those cable knits and ffs take the keys off the kids…

 

...that’s your nest now!

So, there is no ‘crisis’ going on; look on this as your ‘mid-life stock take’, a ‘life review‘ or just your potential for an ‘adulting appraisal’.

Personally, I’m going for broke, throwing caution to the wind and going to be bff’s with my Mid Life Review.
