Lockdown Day 8

Firstly, how did I get to day 8?

Odd.

On what feels like the longest week in living history, have voluntarily added an extra day. Am certain I only started diary last Sunday. Day has, somehow ended but not sure what happened after I got out of bed. Have spent much time watching fellow locked down friends’ various talents showcased on social media. Conclusion? Need hobbies apart from eating…will start hobbies tomorrow.

CONSIDERING TAKING UP KNITTING AS WHOLESOME LOCKDOWN PASTIME

Rearranged bedroom. Spectacularly unsuccessfully. Started with relocation of wardrobe to other side of room. Re hung all clothes. Wardrobe sadly collapsed. Rebuilt wardrobe and re hung clothes. Wardrobe* imploded. Cried.

* Wardrobe is actually just clothes rail. Have not got round to buying wardrobe yet after moving to stylish new** abode.

** New 5 years ago. Must buy wardrobe when shops re open after lockdown***

*** lockdown may be extended a little.

Pesky pandemic is a little more serious and widespread than thought.

Moved bed.

Found 5 pens (3 working)

7 hair bands

£1.22

leaflet on over 50’s insurance (generous offer of free pen to add to existing collection)

5 conkers

3 air dried cherry tomatoes (transpires, youngling hid them under clothes in an imaginative game of hide and seek after Boxing Day buffet).

Additionally, approximately 1.5 inches of dust. Considered moving bed back to original position.

…….Covid 19 News……Covid 19 News…..Covid 19 News…… PM Boris has been diagnosed with Covid 19 as too has Mrs Monroe from number 45…and 19,000 others.

Pesky pandemic.

Home School re opens tomorrow. Considering an inset day.
