Lockdown Day 6 & 7
Saturday.
Thank the lord. Home School is shut.
Head Teacher, thoroughly exhausted, took to the Baileys at 6pm Friday. Head Teacher little foggy headed this morning. Very un-teacher like behaviour. Must do better.
Between lessons, spent most of yesterday pm arranging social online comms: Skype calls at 3 and then 4, WhatsApp call at 5 and then, at 6, there was FaceTime. Not for me admitedly. Youngling’s class mates are getting restless. Seldom has she been so busy or indeed so excited. She has never been allowed to mingle in this virtual way but under circumstances think it permissible. Additionally, Head Teacher gets to do marking. Marking scheme has been streamlined with a general “hurrah for not making mum cry or scream” mark. Resounding applause from youngling.
Clocks go forward tonight…4 months would be good.
Personally, have cleared my diary for the remainder of 2020.

Took canine for marathon walk am. Ran with canine pm. Manchild took canine for walk. Canine now taken to hiding from family as possible result of over walking. Government decree is that you may only leave house once a day to exercise, walk dogs or do essential shopping. I dealt with former, Rock with the latter, and has done essential shop. Came home with vodka and chocolate.
Shall be fat, unemployed, alcoholic at end of lockdown.
Shame Jeremy Kyle has been taken off air… feel I could fit in.

Youngling decided to spread good cheer by chalking a rainbow on the outside of house. Neighbours messaged to declare love for the washable graffiti. Orders for replicas have been taken. Love that youngling.
